Architectural Design Inspiration
Casa Villa Tehuana it’s an inspired construction based on the Continental Style with Mexican influences, using materials located in the region and double highs inside and outside. Neutrals colors and floating gardens with plants falling till the ground, this structure is looking to be part of the environment.
Located in the middle of a 5,000sqm2 the combination of volumes and highs, together with the textures around the walls brings to the edification a perfect 360º view for all the parts.

The main entrance
Inspired by the Mexican villas and decorated with black quarry contrasting the white stucco on the walls and a beautiful iron chandelier hanging above the main door. Made of Tzalam wood, the villa is elevated by half a meter while the main entrance remains on the ground while connecting with the main road. It’s surrounded by mirror waters and soft vegetation, giving the impression of a “gigantic” facade while in fact, it’s 9m tall.
The material used to make the facade are tiles that look and feel like wood. It is similar to the way how Mayans used to build their houses in the past.

Interior Design
Neutrals colors with a touch of sparks. The modern interior combines the softness of the walls and the gray wood floor with the hardness of the black granite. In the living room, a double-high ceiling and tall windows create a big space inviting natural light.

The Dining Room
The dining room is a mix between classic and modern. Combining a rustic blue wallpaper with touches of gold and ceiling light with multiple crystals brings luxuriousness to the space.
To create a more intimate dining area, I have placed windows on the side of the house overlooking the pool while on the other side there are 3 big old mirrors.

The Living Room
In the living room, a double-high ceiling and tall windows create a big space inviting natural light. The combinations between the white paint on the wall and the clear wood tile on the ground make a perfect contrast with the black marble tile on the emphasis walls around the area, the white and black mix gives amplitude and clarity.

The Kitchen
The idea for the kitchen is to combine a modern and classic look. That’s why it’s made of oak wood with a matte finish, allowing you to see the texture of the wood. The handles are hiding in the door of the cabinets and drawers while the crystal in the back with its classic shapes gives a touch of luxury alongside the floating garden on the kitchen island.
